Trinidad and Tobago

 General Information

Trinidad & Tobago has developed a body of supporting policies and legislation related to water and wastewater management.  Currently, the country aims to reducing the fragmentation of water-related policies through the revision of instruments including the National Integrated Water Resources Management Policy.  The GEF CReW+ will support developing a framework for the reuse of water, in harmony with existing regulations.

Improving decision-making is an important area that the country would like to work on, hence the project will support fostering an enabling environment for better and more informed decision-making through the development of a national platform/database for IWWM, the Water Information Management System (WIMS).
